Ranking System (belts)

The Hokushin Karate Academy follows a strict grading syllabus for all Kyu grades (colour belts) and Dan grades.(Black belts)

Kyu grading (colour belt) examinations take place every 2 months under a grading panel of authorised or licensed Black belt examiners.

Successful candidates receive a diploma signed and authorised by the chief instructor and the senior grading official, and a new belt if required.
